DUTIES

The Sales Intern will work closely with the Sales Training Director and will become familiar with all main areas of business. Assist in cultivating new customers and maintaining current customers to expand sales revenue.Calling current and prospective customers to make appointments for Account Executives.Calling current customers to obtain competitive equipment information such as current dealer, model, lease expiration, etc.Updating all sales activity and contact information daily into the Falcon database management program.Assist with planning, preparing and conducting training events.Assist in dropping off collateral to current and prospective customers.Ride along with Account Executives, conduct cold calling and assist in selling multifunction digital solutions for company's office productivity needs.Assist in writing proposals, making presentations, and conducting demonstrations.Assist in Administration and other areas of the company. Will scan deal packets into Quicktag and purge old files to prepare for storage. Others duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current student majoring in Business, Marketing or Economics preferred. Experience in the office equipment or similar industry a plus.Interest in Sales and Marketing required.Minimum 3.0 GPAPrior experience working with a database preferred. Must have drive and ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment.Must have strong communication skills to call on customers on the telephone; and make face-to-face presentations to customers.Strong customer service skills required. Strong relationship management skills with customers and personnel within the organization required. Strong organizational skills. Strong initiative with ability to seek out relevant information prior to making timely decisions.Computer literacy and familiarity with the internet required.Must have strong ethics and work as an effective, collaborative team member.
