Key Information Systems is an IBM business partner who offers technology solutions to our clients We build and service data infrastructures for our clients and our business partner relationships enable us to provide them with cutting edge technology hardware and software We look for a seasoned professional who can bring new sales strategies and business building aptitudes to the table The primary function of the Account Executive is to identify drive and close qualified sales opportunities for Business Partner technologies and services Must be able to consult clients prospective clients on technology solutions and possess enough technical skill to develop and configure these solutions with help from our engineers and architects Primary Duties and Responsibilities Manage existing client base while cultivating new business using advance customer service skills Acquire and maintain product sales certifications product awareness and industry trends Prepare sales forecasts and apply strategy to achieve sales goals Crosssell hardware service and software solutions Work with our solutions architects and engineers to assess technology solutions for clients assure all submitted paperwork is accurate and complete Achieve assigned sales objectives drive revenue and maintain a constant targeted account list Identify client concerns investigate and resolve problems respond to client inquiries Prepare proposals negotiate terms of sale and service level according to Key policies and pricing Participation in sales recruitment activities (events appointments meetings etc) to achieve sales objectives Must be able to travel up to 20 of the time annually attend events and participate in marketing functions Knowledge and Skill Requirements Exceptional communication skills negotiation presentation leadership service Strong sales background in technicalIT industry particularly in technology solutions environment ability to learn new technologies and concepts rapidly History of selling products (IBM VMware Brocade Net App Cisco) in a solution environment a huge plus Compilation list of prospective clients based on own professional network is desired Demonstrated ability to conduct presentations negotiations close sales meet quotas Reputable attention to detail organization prioritization and multitasking Education and Work Experience Requirements Minimum 5 years sales experience in ITtechnology industry Bachelor’s Degree andor formal training in sales techniques marketing or business preferred IBM Cisco Net App VMware or Brocade relationship experience preferred Appropriate Technology Solution Partner Certifications are desired Prefer knowledge of supplier deal registration and distributor quoting systems See Job Description
