MMB is looking for an Account Executive to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker and advocate for the best work possible, while being solutions-oriented and optimistic. The candidate must also have solid research, writing and editing skills and should be capable of running small to medium projects with limited day-to-day supervision. He/she will be the day-to-day lead with mid level clients.

Some of the responsibilities of the Account Executive include:
-Exhibit solid understanding of key client information including general business and media strategy, industry issues, products and services offered, key customers and competitors in the marketplace
-Overall project stewardship: overseeing billing, competitive reports, conference reports and other ongoing Client Leadership team duties
-Experience/Overseeing production of print, OOH, broadcast & other projects
-Train and motivate junior team members to be solution-oriented and open-minded.
-Develop a working knowledge of consumer/cultural/category trends
-Provide leadership, expert knowledge, & identify/facilitate third-party alliances to continually provide client with cutting-edge technology and information to grow their business
-Ability to assess account efficiencies (e.g. process/organization) and determine/implement appropriate action plan
-Master process and navigate the agency to shepherd a project to completion

Junior Account Planner Duties and Responsibilities
-Represents the client in all advertising communications through consumer research and dialogue with primary research specialists, account managers and creatives.
-Leads and participates in strategy development initiatives for clients and new business.
-Designs questionnaires for quantitative and qualitative research as needed.
-Presents research/strategy findings in client and new business meetings.
-Works with the account teams to effectively craft creative briefs and brief creative staff.
-Collects research project input and prepares project/tabulation specifications.
-Designs and monitors the design of questionnaires and topic guides. Also assists in stimuli development as needed.
-Analyzes data and develops/reports key insights
-Attends focus groups (or other qualitative research methodologies), analyzes data from quantitative research reports and develops insights, implications and recommendations.
-Monitors and interprets cultural and social trends relevant to client business as required.
-Keeps agency informed of new trends, research techniques, reports, or approaches useful in assisting new business development or existing clients
-Assists in production and editing of videos needed to capture consumer input, feedback, needed for new business development or for existing client research projects

Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college required.
-Work experience, including fieldwork or internships in advertising either in creative work or qualitative research and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
-Agency experience in planning or research (with quantitative and qualitative data), or account management a plus.
-1-3 years experience

Communication Ability
Ability to read, analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources, such as trade journals, research reports, white papers and cross-tabulated survey data. Ability to draft research reports, presentations, white papers and general business correspondence. Ability to effectively support presentation of research results to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Experience editing videos and writing research findings/reports. Ability to present findings to clients and influence creative decisions.
