The Commercial Account Executive will be required to generate revenue and profit margin for SGI in their assigned accounts and territories. You will also work closely with a network of channel partners to ensure the successful marketing of SGI solutions.
Other duties and responsibilities include, prospecting and planning for net new business to SGI. You will identify high potential sales opportunities (with customer and Regional Sales Director) and prioritize them based on criteria set forth by SGI sales leadership. The Commercial Account Executive will build rapport and educate customers with the use of internal and external resources.
Other duties will include qualifying and the analysis of leads generated by our inside sale group, our channel partners and your individual network of contacts. You will develop an account strategy using customer's growth plans, budget, and project timelines.
The Commercial Account Executive is also responsible for proposing and closing quotations and proposals. You will work with our internal quoting tool, our CRM tool and our internal process to present to the customer finalized collaborative proposals. The key to your success will be validating the value of the SGI solution based on our technical computing abilities and not solely on the price of our solution. You will engage sales management as needed to justify and validate our approach with the customer’s C-level executives.
Finally, you will ensure high post sales satisfaction with our customers, enabling repeat business and long term success for you and SGI.

- 7+ Years of Technical Sales Experience.
- 5+ Years of Storage or IT Infrastructure (IP/Security/Software/Server) related Sales experience.
- 5+ years of achievement and consistently ranked in the top 20% of your sales organization.
- Bachelors Degree.
- The ability to present highly complex technical and business concepts to all levels of an organization.
- A Proven track record of 5 years of progressive accomplishments within your field of work and tenure with current employer of at least 2 years.
