Marin Software is experiencing tremendous business growth and is seeking to add an outstanding individual with strong prior experience working within a client services organization as an Account Manager on our Marin Pro team to manage both client retention and growth through proactive strategic recommendations and rapid response to client issues or questions.
Responsible for the management of client accounts with the goal of fostering long-term business relationships and continued growth. It requires communication via the web and phone conference with clients about product updates and new product releases. You will also be required to track account activity in CRM tool (Salesforce). Must have ongoing knowledge of company offerings, associated technologies and online marketing strategy. You will demonstrate the value of long term agreements with client partners. As such you will create satisfied customers who are willing to recommend Marin Professional to other businesses.
2-5 years of experience in online media, selling software or software-as-a-service
Agency experience is a plus, but not required, and a track record of successful agency business proliferation and customer retention
Search marketing industry experience preferred
Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Previous sales Methodology training preferred
Full-time salaried position with incentive performance component — compensation dependent on prior experience.
