Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the VP, Director, eBusiness, the eCommerce Account Manager will support the growing eCommerce business by serving as the liaison between Christie’s eCommerce Department, Specialist Departments, and various support departments around the planning and execution of online sales.

Responsibility Data:
  • Partner with Specialist Departments to oversee eCommerce sale planning and execution, including managing all online pre-sale, sale and post-sale activities. Specific activities will include:
  • Liaise with Client Services to ensure superior post-sale customer service
  • Work cross functionally with support departments including Finance and Legal to ensure that all corporate requirements are met
  • Maintain sale level P&Ls
    • Development and management of sale calendar
    • Oversight of the contributions to online sales including facilitating cataloguing process, photography, registration requirements for all lots
    • Coordination of marketing plans with Marketing Department
Skills & Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree required, MBA highly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, Auctions or related field
  • Excellent influencing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Outstanding project management and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities and comfort with retail as well as online metrics
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into simple, actionable insights and communicate technical requirements
  • Commitment to a superior customer experience
  • Self-motivated and highly results-driven
