DESCRIPTION

Summary:
Analyze the market and develop order acquisition plans that align the Company's solutions to the Customer's needs/success factors and implement Sales strategies to achieve results. Proactive building customer relationships, analyzing opportunities, understanding the customer's needs and competition's sales strategy, and implementing winning sales plans.

DUTIES

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop a customer-based sales business plan which drives the opportunity base and actions for the market.
  • Analyze the market and identify key competencies in the market.
  • Analyze opportunities and develop a sales strategy for each customer.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers worldwide when developing strategies and order acquisition plans.
  • Understand competitor's sales strategy, sales teams, and customer relationships; construct a plan to counteract their strengths and exploits their weaknesses.
  • Be proactive building customer relationships and develop a relationship strategy to increase the support base where allies work on the Company's behalf. Use established customer executive level relationships as a source of referrals to other like organizations.
  • Develop customer focused "power maps" to identify those who are at the center of influence and authority.
  • Work in close collaboration with Proposal and Estimating, and Advanced Engineering to ensure the solution provides the most competitive scenario and will yield the lowest cost result.
  • Support weekly sales and proposal status review meetings and deliverables.
  • Manage sales leads and opportunities within the Company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to achieve order acquisition targets.

Qualifications (Education, Training, Certification, Licenses, Experience)
  • Overall Experience -- 2+ years of experience
  • Education -- Bachelor's Degree required (engineering or business fields desired), Masters Degree preferred (business or related field).
