Overall Purpose: Advanced Outside Sales position in a high dynamic, fast pace environment to sell Mobility service
solutions and applications strategically and tactically directly to customers in the Federal Civilian government
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Generates new Mobility sales for delivery of solutions/applications that support the
wide variety of customer mission requirements with AT&T products, services, solutions for Federal Government
accounts. Manage accounts and protect existing revenue base by anticipating customers needs and provides
solutions. Have a good general knowledge of telecommunication network architecture.
Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships and maintain good customer satisfaction. Manage and
develops responses to RFIs, RFPs and RFQs. Develop partners relationships to overcome customer issues, develop
sales strategies and priorities in order to deliver value-added business solutions. Assist Sales leadership with
strategies to grow the market in the assigned accounts. Be knowledgeable of key trends and leverage industry
knowledge in order to find and close opportunities. Skills to analyze and solve complex solutions with considerable
attention to details to resolution. This job requires initiative and a self starter at the highest degree. All sales
activities are in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Professional knowledge and Training: Develop and maintains extensive knowledge of the entire product, service and
application solutions. Utilizes Consultative Selling skills to uncover opportunities, propose solutions and close sales
within assigned accounts. Demonstrate existing and new products and application solutions that can benefit
Administrative Duties directly related to Sales success: Develop long term relationships, meet with customers
regularly, engaged in sales activities at the customers site, communicating with customers via phone,
teleconference, e-mail, etc., related to proposed solution/sale etc., traveling to and from the customers premise
(nationwide), maintaining a sales opportunity funnel, preparing orders, quotes, proposals, presentations, RFI, RFP,
RFQ, developing strategic plans related to the customer mission and the proposed solution, researching and
developing customer solutions with ATT internal & external partners, including design and engineering, and
researching customer business and industry to identify new sales opportunities.
Education: Requires a Bachelor degree.
Experience: Requires 5-10 years direct work experience in Mobility
