Develop strategic customer relationships to drive the purchase of Hospira’s Medication Management Device Solutions (devices & IV safety software).
Develop and leverage relationships with economic buyers, technical buyers including clinicians, IT and informatics professionals, as well as “gate keepers” to effectively close Medication Management sales opportunities.
Lead C-Level presentations on the features and benefits of Medication Management solutions highlighting the economic, safety, and clinical advantages of medication error prevention.
Monitor competitive environment and market dynamics to anticipate sales opportunities and to proactively address objections as they relate to clinical, economic, or product-related challenges.
Collaborate with peers to build successful tactics and strategy to secure new business.
Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements that are mutually beneficial for the customer and Hospira. Serve as the liaison between contract marketing and the customer to ensure financing for large capital equipment sales.
Partner with implementation teams to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction during solution implementations and identify cross-sell opportunities.

Previous sales experience with capital equipment, medical devices or software sales (2-5+ years)
Contract Negotiations experience required
Information Technology experience preferred
Clinical/Nursing experience preferred
Project management experience a plus
Presentation skills and demonstration of overall effective communication skills required
