s Sales Team is responsible for
ensuring our retail partner store teams have all the tools they need to make
every customer interaction in their stores memorable and fun.

We have an immediate opening for an Account Manager - Audio
Video Specialty in the Western Portion of U.S. The Account
Manager is responsible for audio-video products within specialty AV
retailers. The right candidate for this role is innovative, challenges
the status quo, instills passion in everyone he or she meets, and most of all, and
is dedicated to providing great customer service. This is a work from
home opportunity but the Sales Supervisor is expected to visit retail
partners within their territory daily

please note,
because the territories are large, this could involve driving or flying.
Travel within territory is 60-70%. Additional travel outside assigned territory
is approximately 20%.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
and achieve your sell-out budget

Face to face account management to develop
relationships with principals and influential employees to create the
ability to advise and counsel

Utilize programming to drive existing and
incremental revenue

Perform competitive analysis to effectively
analyze and recommend best in class industry practices

Sales Forecasting

Provide communication to Management and HQ of
industry activities

Visit and evaluate new account potentials

Represent Sony at industry trade shows; i.e.,
CEDIA, CES, Control 4 Trainings, Regional Trade Association Events

customers on: Sony product features and benefits, specific to the
Installation Channel, and on effective selling techniques, best practices
and how to build relationships

assist consumers as needed by answering their questions and providing

summarize and report out on field and channel feedback and insights

in customer selling events on any potential day of the week during key
promotional campaigns

Product-based, installation and process, integration (to co-exist
with 3


party products), web-based trainings

Produce analytical summaries on technical
capabilities of Sony product in the field

Respond to technical queries on standard and
non-standard installation settings

Field order tracking and product availability requests, create
ISP’s, write up trailing credits for Customer Service execution, maintain
price sheets, price moves and promotions

Communication with Customer Service and
Financial Services on transportation, shipping, logistical issues and
account financial activities

Manage MDF and promotions

Manage dealer communication

s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in
lieu of a degree is required

have a minimum of 2 years of retail related experience working directly in
a retail store or with a retail partner

experience leading or overseeing other employees with demonstrated ability
in coaching and developing is required

have a thorough understanding of consumer electronics, specifically
audio-video products, with the ability to teach and pass on this
knowledge to others

understanding of and experience with executing and maintaining visual
merchandising displays in a retail sales environment is required

be customer centric focused with the ability to motivate, influence and
promote Sony products to consumers

communication and interpersonal skills required with the ability to build
strong, collaborative relationships

be able to represent Sony

s interests and
successfully negotiate with District and store personnel

decision making skills with the ability to solve problems creatively and
with the resources available is required

have an understanding of upstream and downstream impacts and actions on
the business, vendors, and retailers

planning and organizing skills with the ability to juggle multiple
priorities is required

be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to
match retail store hours

using social media for business related communications preferred

travel to retailers in assigned territory is required

be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Powerpoint,
Excel, Word, and Outlook

must be in the geographic territory/zone you are applying for
