AppNexus is looking for amazing Account Managers to join our ever-growing team. The Account Manager role is unique in the sense that it involves relationship management, sales, account management, and strategic consulting. The ideal candidate should have a passion for driving business, as well as being able to think outside of the box.
The Account Manager is responsible for directly managing the business objectives and overall relationships with our clients. We are seeking candidates who are proactive, results oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and committed to growing client relationships.
Specific responsibilities include:
Meet/exceed quarterly revenue goals
Understand our clients’ dynamic business models, strategically implement AppNexus’ technology solutions and work closely with teams internally acting as the client advocate.
Drive clients to a fully adopted technical solution by demonstrating strong project management skills and client rapport
Serve as a liaison with clients regarding new product launches and business opportunities
Develop regular client presentations and account plans and is able to effectively manage against the plan.
Maintain relationships with senior-level contacts at client organizations
2+ years of experience in account management for technology solutions (in the display ad industry a plus)
Demonstrated track record of exceeding client and revenue expectations
Entrepreneurial and focused mindset
Experience in building relationships at senior levels (i.e. C-level) and ability to manage
Superior presentation and written communication skills
Ability to close new business as well as manage existing accounts
Strong familiarity with online media buying and technology solutions is a plus
Team Player; willingness to knowledge share and able to facilitate team rapport
BA/BS degree required, MBA a plus
