Job Description:
Position Objective: Provides corporate oversight of
Federal contracts serving as the primary point of
contact to the Technical Monitor, COR, other federal
client staff, and all GAP Solutions employees. The
individual is responsible for each of the five essential
roles of program management to include: financial
performance, technical performance, customer
satisfaction, personnel management, and business
development. The individual will bring innovation and
the resources needed for contract success and will
ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions: Responsible for the day-to-day
tactical duties for moderately complex contracts. This
position is accountable to oversee results of multiple
contracts. This position is responsible for the
administrative/operational leadership of a contract
within the program guidelines set by the Client Services
Manager (CSM) and the customer. Monitors project to
ensure work scope and schedule are well defined and
maintained. Provides the coordination between resource
managers and/or supervisors and ensures all necessary
reviews and approvals are received. This position may
conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down
to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure successful management of contract and
personnel
  • Ensure financial performance of contract that
includes, but not limited to, meeting or exceeding
the profit and revenue targets, reviewing invoices
prior to submitting for payment, tracking burn
rates, reviewing Job Status Reports monthly,
notifying customers of funding status, and other
financial tasks related to successful management of
the contract.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of contract
deliverables as defined in the contracts.
  • Maintain regular contact with the customer by
regularly visiting the client sites. Ensure customer
requests are addressed timely. Send customer
satisfaction survey once per quarter.
  • Ensure personnel and contract management are in
line with GAPSI and customer expectations. Work with
personnel to develop goals and objectives, conduct
annual reviews, participate with the Talent
Acquisition Team when hiring personnel on the
contract, maintain regular contact with each
employee to understand their duties,
responsibilities and discuss any frustrations or
concerns about the position, assist employees with
career development questions and concerns,
communicate changes to employees as they occur,
attend employee events to include breakfasts,
luncheons and happy hours, work with CSM and HR to
identify appropriate course of actions when
disciplining staff.
  • Ensure growth and maintenance of the contract
assigned. Work with the Business Development Team
(BDT) and CSM to develop growth strategies for each
contract, identify and discuss business
opportunities with the BDT and CSM, assist with
proposal preparation, encourage employees to
identify business opportunities and remind them of
the incentive plan, work with the customer to
identify additional requirements where GAPSI could
provide additional support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications (skills, knowledge, abilities)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Contract management experience
  • Positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to present yourself professionally in a
government environment
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance to
support a cleared contract

Job Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years professional work related
experience.
  • Minimum of two years experience in Client/Customer
Service or Account Management, preferably in a
government contracting environment

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
