DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY

  • Primary technical expert that works with and leads onsite team in the cleaning and maintaining of industrial equipment and paint systems including general janitorial cleaning
  • Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the account
  • Collaborate, plan and develop solution based systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the managed services to meet and exceed client's needs and standards
  • Manage staff in accordance with Powerlink and Customer policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, and coaching supervisors and facility support staff
DUTIES

1.Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the account including staffing levels, budgets, inventory, new product assessment and financial goals

2.Develop a strong understanding of the customer needs, both expressed and unexpressed

3.Collaborate with the onsite customer, vendors, Powerlink corporate office and associated sites

4.Strongly adhere to and set an example for employees of Powerlink's values and policies including attire, demeanor, and methods of management

5.Maintain site budget and employee schedules to maximize site profitability

6.Utilize process analysis methodologies to develop solutions and enhance efficiencies

7.Works with supervisors (team leaders) and
team members to perform and satisfactorily complete all tasks per work instructions

8.Completes and demonstrates how to complete assign tasks in the standard time allowed for the task per the work instruction

9.Assist Supervisors (team leaders) in monitoring all personnel to insure quality and timing of task completion

10.Develop new and innovative way to clean to maximize quality, productivity and cost

11.Demonstrates leadership in following and teaching all safety guidelines

12.Demonstrates leadership in following and teaching all environmental guidelines including proper use and disposal of chemicals

13.Utilizes and demonstrates the proper use of tools including scrapers, putty knives, and razor knives, and power washer

14.Manage staff in accordance with company policies and procedures and the scope of work

15.Coaches personnel for performance and documents all employee corrective actions

16.Communicates appropriately with co-workers, other vendors, and customers

17.Conduct interviews, hire new staff and provide employee onsite training/orientation

18.Coach and provide career development advice to staff

19.Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews

20.Meets all deadlines for completing site reports, forms, payroll, and administrative tasks

21.Completes all planning and customer communication documents

22.Reviews and completes all shift reports including operations, safety, and quality reports, with onsite supervisor (or team leader)

23.Works with customer to build satisfaction and document any customer concerns

24.Assist staff in resolving complex/unordinary issues

25.Schedule and conduct departmental meetings

26.Responsible for meeting department productivity and quality goals

27.Participate in Powerlink and Customer committees and task forces

28.Communicate required information on department operations with all levels of management

29.Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1.Minimum high school diploma with some college preferred

2.6 years of field experience. A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in the field is desirable

3.Strong problem solving capabilities

4.Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Systems, office processes, procedures, and technology

5.Experience in supervising project and team activities

6.Ability to read and interpret accounting and financial reports

7.Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and web based applications

8.A thorough understanding of customer expectations and customer service techniques

9.Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule when necessary with a minimal notice

10.Ability to be on call 365 days/24 hours a day

11.Hands on position; working position when required

12.High level of personal stamina.

13.Flexible and adaptable personality, capable of independent actions
