Contract Manufacturing Services Sales Director is responsible for directing, and coordinating company sales activities with assigned customers in the contract manufacturing of wet wipes area. Work towards maximizing company sales, exposure, and profitability while increasing market penetration with in the wet wipes industries.
As a part of New Business Development, to explore new opportunities within product groups, a focused market or geographic area.
. Manage direct sales to major company accounts.
. Grow sales over time with existing customers.
. Grow sales as able with new customers.
. Plan visits with assigned customers as needed.
. Oversee the logistics phase of the sales delivery process.
. Work with current and potential customers to develop new products within the wet wipe category.
. Identify new prospects and follow-through with sales and marketing activities to accomplish additional sale.
. Develop market analysis of competitive products, sales planning, pricing of products and sales strategies with the CMS Team.
. Manage customer communications and expectations on all projects.
. Review account performance quarterly.
. Promote effective communications within the Division and other departments in the company that will achieve sales targets that have been set.
. Travel 25% of the time as needed for effective management of the sales process and product delivery.
. Assist in sales planning, addressing issues such as analysis of competitive products, pricing, and sales techniques.
. Manage the presentation of company products at trade shows.
. Requires education generally equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in the fields of business, engineering, or other area of study that will lend to sales and market development of the manufacturing of wet wipes.
. Good Mechanical aptitude.
. Strong verbal, written, analytical, and, interpersonal skills. A good mechanical aptitude is a plus.
. 3-5 years experience in the wet wipe, non woven industry or related industry.
. Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
. Demonstrated ability as an analytical thinker and problem solver.
. A high degree of mechanical aptitude to understand manufacturing processes and effectively communicate with customers.
. Ability to present information and ideas to internal and external customers.
