The Account Manager (AM) is the primary point of contact and coordinator of all efforts to expand Learning Houses presence across a region of partner institutions. The position focuses on applying and expanding our service package throughout institutions to implement fully online programs. The AM forms solid relationships at every level within our partner institutions and at Learning House. This role helps generate the maximum number of expanded, 100 percent online programs and fully integrated relationships across all functions. The AM plays a critical project management role in key projects related to customer program and service launches and coordinates these efforts with internal departments. In addition, this individual works on key process improvement projects. The role interacts with multiple departments at partner schools, including marketing and enrollment; key stakeholders, such as department chairs, deans, professors and instructors; and leadership-level administrators, such as Provosts, Chief Financial Officers and Presidents. The position requires strong communications skills (written and oral), a collaborative and cross-functional effort and keen attention to detail to ensure timelines are met and deliverables achieved. The AM should have a detailed, professional temperament and should be well-versed in sales and strategic account management. The individual should have sound communication (written and oral) and presentation skills. The AM should think independently and solve problems. The role requires a dynamic business manager who has solid program management skills and can handle a diverse account base with multiple demands. The fast-paced environment requires an adaptable team player who can collaborate cross-functionally to drive customer-focused solutions that position relationships for long-term, sustainable growth. Success in this role requires 50 percent travel.
