Job Title: Account Manager
Summary of Role
The Account Manger (AM) is expected to manage the day-to-day running of accounts, acting as the main point of contact for their clients, ensuring both excellent client service and successful delivery of projects. They will need to work closely with both Technical Project Managers on project deliverables and within the Mobile Marketing Business Unit to ensure the strategic vision for the account is implemented. AMs are expected to help grow and develop accounts, through excellent client relationships and best in class service.
Day-to-day management of clients and their partner agencies in a matrix environment
Ensure professional management of the client business by maintaining on-going documentation of all client work in progress including status reports, contact reports, invoicing, etc.
Work closely with Technical Project Managers on project timings and deliverables and escalate project level risks to Sales Leader/ Business Owner
Build and maintain relationship with internal global teams (Creative, Development, Technical Project Management, etc.)
Support Sales Leader and Business Owner on new business proposals and pitches where required
Create and present monthly metrics updates
Create and present quarterly business review with Sales Leader/ Business owner for upsell
Drive process internally and with client teams
Required Skills and Experience:
5 years plus account management experience of which a minimum of 3 years are in Digital gained within an agency background
1+ years in mobile marketing desired
Strong track record of managing multiple clients, budgets and timings plans simultaneously
High level of attention to detail
Understanding and experience in the multichannel space along with grounding in Must be able to work with a high level of autonomy and ambiguity marketing/advertising/communications principles
Experience in website development and CRM. Experience with mobile site development and SMS is a plus.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, and must be able to hold senior client conversations
Confidence, assertiveness, and self-starter qualities
