Job Description :
The Accounts Receivable Accounting Analyst is responsible for independently managing non-customer Accounts Receivable, invoicing and accounting related activities throughout all entities. This consists of documenting, tracking and ensuring the recovery of all non-customer AR related transactions, including inter-company receivables, partner repayments, credits and all other receivables generated outside of the standard revenue cycle. This role will interface with and support the billing and collections teams and assist in compiling monthly metrics. The applicant should have a strong accounting and analysis background, display a positive and proactive attitude, have strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment.

Generate auto/manual invoices, including transactions which cannot be generated through the standard billing processes, and ensuring these invoices are completed with proper support
Perform monthly closing processes which include preparing reconciliations of AR, calculating reserves, monitoring contracts and calculating deferred revenue
Thoroughly understand, document, map, and maintain accounts receivable desktop procedures for this position
Support month-end & audit processes and perform other ad-hoc accounting duties as required
Participate in on-going business process streamlining related to invoice-related activities across the company
Maintain and balance accounts receivable subsidiary accounts by verifying, reconciling and resolving discrepancies to the general ledger.
Provide guidance to business team as to proper accounting for transactions
Understand all reconciliations for all entities. Be able to work closely with Fund accounting and GL
Evaluate existing partner contracts leading to partner discussions
Support AR Manager with Daily updates on various projects and reports
Calculate fair value of receivables and related contracts as required under GAAP

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5 + years of experience as an Analyst
Oracle experience desirable
Advanced skills in Excel
Adept at documenting complex accounting issues and transactions
Strong, self-motivated, ability to work independently and proactively, results-oriented, with superior planning, budgeting and communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
