The Account Specialist is our connection to our vendors. In this position you will be responsible for building and maintaining excellent business relationships with our valuable vendors, and ensuring continued success with these business partners.
Responsibilities: • Serves customers by providing information on products and quotes • Responds to requests • Receives and enters orders • Processes shipping paper work, and coordinates freight quotes • Collects revenue via phone or EDI • Posts invoices and collects past dues • Services outside sales reps with reports, orders, catalogs, etc. Requirements: • Good typing and data entry skills required • Solid knowledge in Microsoft Office is a MUST - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Experience in Microsoft Navision is preferred • Must have excellent attention to detail and error-free data entry skills • Proven ability to work under pressure with deadlines and sense of urgency required • EDI experience preferred • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
