As an Accountant your responsibilities will include day-to-day finance related tasks for our campus in San Francisco. You will be involved in the operational and statutory output and reporting as well as in the audit process for this campus. Additionally you will interact with students, operations and sales staff in San Francisco but also from our campuses in Boston, Dubai, London and Shanghai. You will furthermore be expected to assist in ongoing systems implementations and process improvements. This position is part-time and has an excellent growth potential for the right candidate.
You are hardworking, reliable, self-motivated, focused and organized with a "nothing is impossible" attitude . In addition strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must as well as thriving in a fast-paced, international environment. Language ability and international travel experience are preferred.
Your main responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Customer and Staff Related Enquiries
- Assisting in monthly reconciliations
- Assisting in budget preparations and cost following up
- 1-3 years experience
- A majority of this time should have been spent in accounting
- Bachelors degree in accounting/finance required
- Well-developed communication and cooperation skills
- Good computer skills, particularly in excel
