We are currently seeking a creative, motivated and energetic individual to join our department as a Senior Accountant Analyst.
Specific responsibilities for this role include: preparation, review and presentation of corporate financial results, assisting with various accounting and financial reporting tasks, completing audit / regulatory requirements, researching complex accounting matters, analyzing / addressing period operating results compared to prior period and budget, streamlining and improving efficiency of reporting and processes, and completing ad hoc analyses. The individual in this role will interact/partner with associates at various levels across the organization, as well as work with external auditors.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related area
5-7 years of experience in public and/or private accounting within a larger corporate environment (2-3 years in public big four preferred)
Extensive knowledge of GAAP and experience in researching complex accounting matters for proper treatment
CPA highly preferred
Ability to think conceptually and analytically about key impacts of operations on financial results
Ability to work as a team member
Initiative to work independently and contribute to department goals
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities for processes and reports
Ability to lead others while maintaining effective business relationships with associates throughout the organization
Strong computer skills, including Excel and experience with an enterprise accounting system such as SAP
