Lockheed Martin GTL group, is looking for a junior level accountant to provide support within the Navy’s Foreign Military Sales (FMS) division in Philadelphia, PA. Candidate will receive on the job training in the use of MISIL, DIFS and DoD web based systems. At the junior level, candidate will support lead analyst with all aspects of Foreign Military Sales case reconciliation and funds management. Candidate will be responsible for communicating, oral and written; requests for supporting documentation such as billing histories, reimbursable and direct cite documents to DoD contractors, military depots and paying offices. Documents obtained are analyzed and posted into a centralized depository for financial comparison to the Navy accounting system. Prepares double entry accounting corrections to the Navy accounting system to resolve financial discrepancies. Initiates correction to resolve FMS business rule violations. Support the ICP Repair of Repairable (RoR) Manager by obtaining repair quotes and delivery status for repair items. Experience with basic accounting in one or more of the following areas; invoicing, ledgers accounts, reconciliation. Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point and Access. Strong oral and writing skills. Ability to prioritize work.
Strong accounting skills, focus on document reconciliation. Quality MS Office skills, FMS experience and knowledge of MISIL is a definite plus.
