Job Description for Accountant:

Early stage growing and profitable company seeks a qualified accountant to handle all accounting activities for the company, including management of all accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, collections, payroll, the timely creation of monthly and annual financial statements, financial analysis of business trends, business and regulatory filings with local, state and federal tax and licensing authorities, and other related activities. In addition, this person will coordinate annual income tax filings with our external accounting firm. This person will function as a key member of the company’s management team and will report to the president. This role has been a part-time position up until this point, however the business has grown to the point of requiring a full or nearly full time accountant; consequently, the role could have some flexibility for individuals who desire a slightly less than a full-time position.
We seek a motivated, high-energy individual who possesses an accounting degree, three or more years of relevant work experience, in-depth knowledge of Quickbooks and Excel, and the ability to be a positive influence in a team environment.
