CRST Malone is seeking a self motivated and results oriented Accountant to be located in Birmingham, AL.

SUMMARY : Reconcile asset and liability general ledger accounts to source documents. Handle financial aspects of lease purchase program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Responsible for fixed asset accounting including recording asset purchases and disposals, reconciliation to general ledger, depreciation and capital expenditure forecasting and tax depreciation reporting.

Administer financial aspects of lease purchase program, including reconciliation to general ledger, quoting and processing buyouts and monthly and quarterly reporting.

Balance cash accounts for all CRST companies, including preparing journal entries to record monthly activity.

Generate other financial reports and special projects as assigned.

Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in accounting required with one to two years of related experience.
