The Project Accountant is the representative of the Company responsible for the total financial aspects of assigned construction projects and assisting in the month end closing process, maintaining journal entries and reconciling accounts.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years construction/job costing experience on $50 million or larger construction projects. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required. CMiC experience desired. Excellent communication and writing skills are required.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Completing and providing monthly job cost reports; monthly owner pay applications; maintaining trade contracts and pay applications; tracking and reviewing receivables; reviewing and processing accounts payable; reviewing construction budgets; ensuring overall compliance with accounting policies and procedures; ensure overall contractual compliance; providing accounting support and training for on-the site management team; and performing other related activities and duties as assigned.

Education Requirement: The successful candidate must have a BS [Accounting or Finance required / CPA is a plus but not required]
