In existence since 1940, The Guild for Human Services is a residential school for students ages 6 to 22 years. The Guild serves students with mental health issues, autism, developmental disabilities, and emotional and behavioral challenges. Our unique curriculum spans a variety of subjects, including math, reading, language arts, budgeting, social sciences, personal growth and development, computer, vocational, and employment skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform accounting duties related to new adult program and existing children programs including, but not limited to preparation of monthly billings, tracking of AR, processing of expense invoices, reconciliation of bank statements, and other duties as assigned working in conjunction with Accounting Manager.
Education & Qualifications
A bachelors degree from a recognized institution and/or any combination of training and experience which demonstrates a capability to perform the functions of the position.
Familiarity with accounting functions as they pertain to human service organizations is preferred. Familiarity with the operation of an office environment. Ability to relate well to people. Attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions. Knowledge of EXCEL and Word.
