PeopleOps is seeking a self-motivated hardworking individual to spear head the creation of our internal HR " Accounting team as we prepare the company for scailing globally. The responsibilities for the job include the following: Key participant in all month-end close activities and suggesting/implementing efficiencies in the process, including ownership and management of certain accounts and processes (such as commissions) Preparing and analyzing account reconciliations including making judgments as to the need for adjustments Writing technical accounting memos to document and defend accounting positions Preparation of periodic-end audit packages, and helping to manage external accounting vendor Work with teams to reconcile customer and revenue accounts and records Assisting with special projects as needed, such as system implementations The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following: Willingness to “roll-up the sleeves ” and get things done Self-driven, self-starter, goal oriented, and someone who can work independently Strong oral and written skills and the ability to communicate Awesome customer service ability with extra ability to work with difficult customers (from time to time) Experience with Mac OS is strongly preferred.

Freshbooks or BillingsPro helpful as well. Must be proficient in Excel 2-3 years experience MSA, CPA nice to have but not required.
