Through the Fidelity Funds Network program, customers have access to a virtual mutual fund supermarket of more than 570 mutual fund companies, representing over 16,800 cusips over many share classes. Fidelity's Funds Network program spans 6 business units and is the larest in the industry accounting for 20% of net sales on long-term funds. The funds are organized into two categories: Non-Transaction Fee Funds and Transaction Fee Funds .

The Accounting analyst role is to support this product through the creation of invoices, allocation of mutual fund revenue including 12b1 payments, providing oversight in the tracking and resolving of aged accounts receivables and producing management reporting to the various business units. This candidate should demonstrate influence within the department and with internal/external business partners along with having the ability to lead people in process and projects.

Primary Responsibilities

Create monthly and quarterly invoices.
Provide oversight and control for 12b1 processing
Allocate revenue across business units.
Resolve receivable/contractual issues with relationship management team.
Participate in bi-weekly meeting with relationship management team.
Prepare monthly trending reports for management review.
Reconciliation of accounts receivable.
Assist in special projects as assigned.
Responsible for all aspects of monthly close process.
Investigate problem situations that might result in a delay in payments of outstanding receivable amounts. Provide additional back up where required.
Act as escalation point for any unresolved problems
Work to minimize risk and exposure.
Research and resolve open items discovered in the reconciliation of the general ledger accounts.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business related field required
3-5 years work experience.

Skills/Knowledge:
Effective written/verbal communication skills.
Strong follow-up.
Strong leadership and influence skills
Excellent knowledge of PC applications.
Knowledge of mainframe systems.
Ability to work independently as well as be a team player.
Experience leading large complex inicitives
