ARA’s Transportation Sector financial team is seeking a full-time, entry-level accounting assistant to process accounts payable. We are looking for someone who is customer service oriented, organized, and results-driven, with a strong eye for detail.
The accounting assistant’s primary duty is to check employee travel and expense reimbursements for accuracy and compliance with policies, then process them for payment. Other duties include processing vendor payments, coding company credit card expenses, data entry, filing, scanning, and managing electronic archives.
Candidate must work well as part of a team with the ability to work independently; must be willing to take ownership of individual tasks. Candidates also must be proficient in the use of MS Office products.
