SUMMARY: Provides assistance to the Accounting Department as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Provide assistance to the Accounting Department as directed to include the following: General ledger accounting
Accounts Receivable – Credit & Collections Assistance includes contacting customers and processing payments.
Accounts Payable – including contacting vendors and processing payables
Assist in Reviewing Inventory & Fixed Assets
Customer/Vendor file maintenance
Help with all aspects of the accounting department
Miscellaneous Duties as assigned
Flexible Part time or Full time position based on company need
REQUIRED SKILL, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Education and/or Experience: Must be a High School Graduate or equivalent. A degree in accounting is desirable or equivalent experience.
High degree of accuracy and detail oriented is required
Be an energetic team player
Exhibit a good attitude and work ethic
Must possess good people skills
Accounting software experience is a plus.
