Provides administrative and secretarial support to the Director of Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) and Manager of CNE & Grants. Assists in the coordination of ANCC provider accreditation activities including individual program management, expediting and coordinating the work of the Director and Manager. Ensures the smooth operation of Center for Continuing Education in Health Sciences (CCEHS) managed and all American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accredited nursing programs. Performs a variety of accounting duties and administrative functions to meet the department’s financial compliance and accreditation responsibilities.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Associates degree in Secretarial Science, Accounting, Finance, and/or Business Management with a minimum of one-three years of applicable experience or the equivalent in education and experience required. Must have excellent grammar, spelling and typing skills and verbal/written communication skills. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.. Ability to manage several accounts with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to plan work, multitask, set priorities and respond to pressures, deadlines and changes in priorities.
