Upscale home furnishings manufacturer located in Port Washington, Long Island is looking for the right candidate to join their accounting department. Qualifications: • Accounting experience preferable and/or Accounting Degree • Excellent with numbers " detail-oriented • Must possess advanced MS Word and Excel skill set • Great communications skills and ability to work as part of a team. • Detail-oriented individual with an ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment • Strong customer service, communication and organizational skills and excels at working independently Responsibilities: • Accounts Payable/Receivables (processing invoices, handling vendor calls and payment inquiries hellip;) • Process deposits and check payments • File and maintain company records • General office duties • Responsible for accuracy and quality of work processed • General Bookkeeping duties Hands on training Compensation: $15/hour Benefits: Health Insurance/401k
