We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic Accounting Clerk who will give both our internal and external clients the best service in the industry. Additional responsibilities include:
Compute, classify, record, and verify numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records.
Compile and sort documents, such as invoices, checks, et al.
Provide back-up for payroll (timecards, W4s, I9s, and/or Union Contracts).
Perform purchasing duties as well as conduct travel arrangements.
Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases.
Investigate problems that vendors (internal or external) may have to assist with resolution.
Compute and record charges, payroll data, and procedures.
Track company phones as well as fulfill special projects as assigned.
Assemble and complete monthly revenue report.
Now that you know what this position does, do you have the background to do the job?
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Five (5) years of experience with Accounts Payable (A/P) or general accounting experience.
Strong data entry skills.
Solid attention to detail, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Proficient working knowledge MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
Some college, an Associate’s Degree, and/or a Bachelor’s Degree, and/or training in Finance, Accounting, and/or related concentration.
Knowledge of Kronos Timekeeping and Reporting and/or SAP.
