DESCRIPTION

The Accounting Finance Supervisor supervises the general accounting functions and accounting staff for Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine, a for profit entity that also manages a not for profit Foundation. This position ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures and is responsible for the accurate and timely closing of the general ledger and all related system processes. Prepares and supports the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow and other financial reports. Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliations including cash, AR, AP and other various asset and liability accounts. The Accounting Finance Supervisor facilitates the compilation of routine financial forecasts and calculation of physician compensation and oversees the payroll and accounts payable process and assists in the management of cash balances. This position serves as a liaison between billing and operations by gaining a complete understanding of the revenue cycle process while assisting the Director of Finance with special projects and other standard financial reporting and analysis functions.

QUALIFICATIONS
