Job Skills/Requirements
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to prepare/maintain the general ledger, monthly account reconciliations, financial statements, and account analysis, along with other special projects. Other responsibilities include the daily review and oversight of the bookkeepers functions, coordinating the museums fiscal year end closing process, assisting in the annual external audit and the filing of the Form 990 tax return.

Additional Information/Benefits
Candidate must have 3+ years of prior accounting experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Nonprofit accounting, Peachtree accounting software, and MS Excel experience is highly preferred. Candidate must have strong general ledger, reconciliation and financial statement experience, along with good communication skills and GAAP knowledge.
