PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The Accounting Manager supervises 4 employees and is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and quarter/year end audit preparation. The Accounting Manager also manages the income and sales tax activates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
' Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
' Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
' Oversee and manage payroll
' Monthly and Quarterly reports to be sent to corporate
' Manage accounting team that is responsible for all GL account (bank reconciliation, Fixed Assets, AP etc.).
' Payroll monitoring and bookkeeping
' Work with the Controller to ensure a clean and timely quarter review and year end audit.
' Tracking and conducting payments to suppliers.
' Inputting journals, expense & vendor invoices
' Bank and vendor reconciliations
' Assistant in annually statutory and tax return preparations
' Cash management
' Inter Company reconciliation
' Support corporate maintaining a robust internal controls
' SOX compliance

Education & Experience
' BA in Accounting, Finance or other relevant discipline. (CPA- An advantage)
' At least 7 years experience in a supervisory or management role in an Accounting Department of an international company (Hi-tech company is an advantage)
' SAP Knowledge and Experience is mandatory.
' Knowledge in Payroll accounting.
' Strong computer skills (especially Excel and Microsoft Office)
' Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
' Strong follow-up and attention to detail in a fast-paced operations environment are required.
' High ability to work independently.
' Fully dedicated for strict time tables, high level responsiveness
