We are seeking an Accounting Manager to support the Installation Program Director and Installation Leadership in regards to all financial/accounting information and to work with the Corporate Accounting Leadership on important company accounting initiatives. Ensure adherence to company internal controls and facilitate the process of documenting accounting policies and procedures. To manage the monthly financial close, supervise the assignment of installation accounting staff to include accounts payable, general ledger, billing and fixed assets and to prepare the monthly management financial reporting package and executive schedules. Responsibilities include:
  • Support internal users of accounting data by providing timely and accurate information and reports
  • Assist corporate and installation teams with financial information and guidance as appropriate for decision making and reporting
  • Ensure full comprehension of the accounting software packages to ensure that the company is fully utilizing its investment
  • Analyze all installations costs and expenses to pursue and recommend savings opportunities and cost/benefit efficiencies in installation operations
  • Assist in establishing procedures and processes as they relate to installation accounting operations
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing and reporting of all installation financial data
  • Manage the installation annual audit process and work paper preparation for the company's independent auditors
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the on-site accounting staff
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant accounting experience preferably in property management or construction with at least 3 years in accounting management/supervisory experience
  • Yardi and/or Timberline Accounting Software experience preferred
  • Advanced spreadsheet and computer skills required in Excel and related programs
  • Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast paced environment
  • Professional and positive mindset; ability to interact with leadership
  • Ability to resolve complex accounting issues with minimal guidance
  • Minimal Travel Required. Approximately 4-5 days annually
