Our South Norwalk, CT office is looking for an Operations Analyst to join the Accounting team. The Accounting Operations Analyst position provides administrative support to the Accounting Operations Manager by assisting with A/P A/R functions.
Our ideal candidate has an Accounting degree and some accounting/analytical internship experience and strong knowledge of Excel. We will provide systems training. If you're ready to start your Accounting career this is the opportunity for you!
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Review and enter Media Cost vendor invoices into the general ledger
Review and enter operational vendor invoices into the general ledger
Scan copies of all operational vendor invoices and file hardcopies
Check disbursement
Collections support
Researching and resolving some accounts payable issues with vendors
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business and/or accounting preferred
Some accounting/analytical internship experience preferred, not required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Computer skills required: Word, Excel
Strong attention to detail and follow through
Highly organized, proactive and assertive
