The Accounting Supervisor role in our Financial Shared Services Center is responsible for the following:
Supervises a staff of 4 - 10 Accounting associates, manages daily productivity and directs workload impacting McKesson, Suppliers, and Customer's Returns balances.
Acts as a trainer and mentor for team members.
Approves financial transactions and ensures internal and Sarbanes Oxley defined controls are maintained.
Communicates with key suppliers to analyze and reduce supplier defects, while maximizing financial accuracy.
Actively participates in supplier effectiveness score card process.
Leads initiatives for process improvement.
2-3 years experience in a high volume accounting or financial environment including 2 years supervising teams managing performance to include delivering feedback, training, coaching and mentoring others as well as providing input on team members' performance. The Ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills as well as demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast paced environment.

Drive tasks to completion within set parameters

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
