Performs a variety of routine and non-routine accounting functions in one or more of the following areas: General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or related financial area.
• Typically handles complex accounting support functions in area of specialty.
• May have defined responsibilities for office, region, client or for a specialized segment of the accounting system.
• May provide training and guidance to others.
High school diploma; college level business classes preferred.
2+ years accounting clerical experience in General Accounting, A/P or A/R, Payroll or related financial area. 2+ years experience with automated and manual accounting systems.
Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to effectively present information to coworkers and Supervisors on a one-on-one basis. Organizational skills; attention to detail; intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite applications.
