JOB DESCRIPTION: Intel Accounting Specialist |
REPORTS TO: Balance Department Manager
PRIMARY FUNCTION: This position is responsible for performing all accounting activities associated with Intel project job costing and invoicing in order to ensure accurate job costing and maximization of revenue through accurate and timely billing to Intel.
This position also provides staff support to the site supervisor and foremen to assure a smooth and timely flow of materials, tools, test equipment, and paperwork.
EDUCATION: Accounting or Finance Degree or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE: With an accounting or finance degree, 2+ years of accounting experience. Job cost accounting experience is preferred. Without an accounting or finance degree, two semesters of general accounting courses and 5+ years of experience in accounting. Job cost accounting is preferred.
This candidate should score a minimum of 80% on the Linc ® Accounting Fundamentals assessment.

III - Recommend solutions; obtain approval before implementation.
IV - Authorized to take action; advise afterward.
V - Take action; no regular reporting required.

V Job Cost and Billing Responsibilities – Ensure all job cost and billing tasks are performed timely and
V Work orders – process field work orders in accounting software to produce accurate job cost and billing
V Contract billings – produce accurate major project and IPCS invoices; process and track change orders
III Project completions – review reporting and analyze costs for all projects prior to completion
III Field Productivity - Provide equipment, material, tools, and logistical support to the field to assure maximum productivity.
IV Status Reporting: - Inform manager of work progress, customer relations, field personnel relations, material administration,and other matters affecting service operations.
IV Customer Relations: - Immediately advise manager of customer complaints to expedite resolution to assure and maintain long term relationships. Communicate resolution to customer.
IV Paperwork: - Perform auditing of assigned paperwork to assure accurate and timely processing. File all schedules, reports, invoices, and project documents according to established parameters.
