Prudential Asset Resources (PAR) is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist for its Accounting and Operations Team. This position is located in downtown Dallas, Texas and reports to a Director of Accounting (CPA).
Prudential Asset Resources is a subsidiary of Prudential Mortgage Capital Company and one of the largest commercial and multifamily mortgage servicing firms in the nation. Assets under management include CMBS, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and insurance company general account loans. The Company is a rated Primary, Master, and Special Servicer. Prudential Mortgage Capital Company is a diversified mortgage lender with a 125-year commitment to the commercial real estate market.

Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for Institutional Reporting, Loan Fee Accounting, selected Investment and Corporate Accounting functions,, and Special projects associated with the mortgage loan portfolio. Position is responsible for maintaining relationships with many internal and corporate office Prudential employees as well as two supervisors.

Responsibilities:
For institutional investors, facilitate the preparation of the daily valuations, financial statements, remittances and coordination with both internal and external parties related to reporting.
For several portfolios, facilitate the receipt, disbursement, and reconciliation of borrower funds during a loan's prefunding period. These responsibilities require partnering with various field and corporate offices and PAR personnel.
Complete daily and month end reconciliations of the sub-ledger, loan servicing system, and Oracle general ledger.
Prepare applicable journal entries based on reconciliations.
Prepare monthly accruals, market value adjustments, period cash transfers and balancing for Prudential's on-book portfolio.
Prepare various metric/key indicator reports and special projects as required.

Ideal Candidate:
The candidate should be self motivated, able to meet deadlines with accurate work, prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment, and enjoy collaborating with a team as well as working with little supervision. It would be helpful if the candidate is familiar with the concept of a source system feeding a general ledger and a data warehouse as many of the reconciliations are based on understanding the data flows between systems
