Prudential Real Estate Investors (PREI) is the real estate investment management arm of Prudential Investment Management, with over $33.8 billion in net assets under management. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Process monthly and quarterly entries for PREI entities.
  • Prepare quarterly GAAP supplemental schedules.
  • Using the Prudential Account Sign Off system (PASS), reconcile and sign off on balance sheet account balances for all assigned PREI entities quarterly.
  • Oversee the cash disbursement function.
  • Respond to annual audit requests.
  • Prepare various financial analyses on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure procedures are maintained and updated.
  • Ad-hoc/project work (e.g. NAREIM surveys, product profitability, ad-hoc business needs, etc.).

Undergraduate degree in accounting.

Public accounting firm experience/CPA/MBA a plus.

Strong accounting, research and analytical skills.

Self-motivated and proactive.

Work independently as well as part of a team.

Able to drive process improvement.

Strong computer skills (a firm working knowledge of Excel).

Strong interpersonal, communication and partnering skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Asset management industry experience is a plus.

Overtime will be required during peak periods.
