Position Overview: Performs routine accounting activities such as maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements, financial reports and accounts payable functions.

Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and ensure all monthly reconciliations are received.
Assist with Processing of Accounts Payable.
Assists the Accounting Department staff in data entry activities or other clerical functions, such as filing or research, as necessary.
Prepares a variety of debit and credit entries necessary to accomplish daily and monthly entries.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Assist with Special projects as assigned.
High school diploma.
One or more years of experience in accounting or a related field.
Good math skills and a general knowledge of commonly used accounting principles.
Proficient and experienced in Excel and Word.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Demands:
The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee will regularly sit, talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee will occasionally stand, walk, climb, or balance; stoop or kneel. Special vision requirements include close vision and the ability to focus. The noise level in the environment is usually normal.
