The ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST will be responsible for daily administrative functions for the Accounting, Commercial Enrollment and Accounts Receivable Departments. Tasks will include premium posting; processing returned EOBs which requires member contact; daily deposits; reviewing, inputting, processing, scanning and filing AL and GL transactions; coordinating various internal, external and regulatory audits; preparing graphics and correspondence and special projects.

Position Requirements

REQUIRED:
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a similar position
•Ability to be organized, flexible, detail oriented, skilled at multi-tasking and to work under pressure to meet deadlines with little supervision
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office
•Excellent customer service skills demonstrated through written and verbal communication
PREFERRED:
•Two years accounting experience
•Knowledge of the insurance industry
