Supervise, develop and motivate personnel and proactively monitor reconciliation completion and quality to ensure achievement of corporate objectives and quality standards.
Establishes procedures to meet and maintain reconciliation schedules, accuracy, and timeliness to meet department and customer expectations.
Promotes activities that result in the achievement of reconciliation goals by establishing best practices and guidelines for staff.
Assists in conversion efforts for various reconciliation tools, effectively communicating with conversion teams to ensure conversion results are consistent with financial objectives.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
Assists the manager with supervising staff including: providing performance feedback, personnel issues, coaching, staff development and training.
Analyzes department statistics and responds by allocating work, staff and talent to support appropriate levels of production and quality to achieve departmental expectations.
Communicates issues, decisions and other related activities to appropriate personnel to ensure communication throughout the company as necessary and appropriate.
Coordinates and develops projects/improvements with department Supervisors, Managers and other personnel. Formulates and establishes new programs and procedures to ensure continuous process improvements.
Develops staff members to meet the expectations set for each position within assigned area of responsibility. Provides staff with on-going training and coaching as needed and motivates and promotes individual professional goals.
Interviews prospective employees and makes recommendations to secure qualified personnel.
Prepares reports for management upon request.
Performs other duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Five (five) years of experience in accounting is required with some experience in lead/supervisory role
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment while participating in a team atmosphere
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
