Greylocke & Company is conducting a search for a Senior Accountant with supervisory experience on behalf of our growing, publicly traded, real-estate development company located in the Northern Virginia area. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to join an organization with a successful track record of growth and profitability. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing 3 direct reports as well as the general ledger, preparing and developing budgets, audit preparation for annual audits, and fixed asset duties.

Specific aspects of this position will include, but not be limited to; monitoring debt obligations, reviewing sales contracts to ensure compliance, accounts payable functions, keeping track of project expenses, and reviewing and interpreting all other contracts to ensure proper pricing and counting.

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in (Accounting or Finance)
  • 4+ years of accounting experience within the real estate or residential construction industries.
  • Must have supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated career growth and increasing responsibility
