The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for the oversight of the procurement system, daily processing of invoices, vendor payment and employee expense reimbursement for dunnhumbyUSA, and will include additional general accounting and month end close duties .

Deliver Value

Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments, employee reimbursements and procured goods

Responsible for ensuring the accurate posting of payables and employee reimbursements to the general ledger

Responsible for ensuring accurate sales and uses taxes are calculated and tracked

Responsible for ensuring that capital and expense items are recorded appropriately using company guidelines, including the utilization of appropriate data governance to allow for the posting of accurate results for management reporting purposes.

Responsible for the proper reconciliation of various General and Sub-ledger accounts

Other general accounting duties as assigned

Responsible for implementing best practices for optimal accounts payable processes and procedures, including key controls, use of the system (Dynamics and future ERP system), and global best practice.

Expected to be a system expert – able to execute all daily team tasks

Expected to understand the payable cycle (including all relevant systems) from beginning to end.
Inspire and Enable

Responsible for successfully interface with many roles within dunnhumbyUSA and beyond, including but not limited to:
US Commercial Finance, Accounting, & CFO
Group Finance
Client Leadership / Partnership Management
Kroger / Other Clients as Necessary
Credit and Collections Manager

Responsible for serving as the team lead for 1 staff accountant, managing daily work and ensuring staff is aware of what success looks like
Skills/Knowledge : .

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA / CPA Preferred )

Minimum 5 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably with focus on accounts payable and general accounting

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and Concur Technologies is a plus

Ability to effectively and professionally communicate within a team environment, across the organization

Ability to execute detailed work independently and accurately, particularly with large quantities of data from multiple sources

Experience in Supervising small accounting teams / functions
