Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) is looking for a very organized and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist with strong Excel, Access and Word skills. You’ll coordinate processes in the accounts payable cycle to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and monitor vendor terms to secure all discounts offered.
You’ll process a high volume of various types of AP transactions, including vendor invoices, manual check request vouchers, and employee expense reports. You’ll run developed queries and reports, be responsible for preparing month-end accruals, and alert the department head of any anomalies or missing billings. You’ll track and follow-up with Purchasing, Supply Chain, and cost center managers regarding outstanding items and will support AP team members to resolve issues with customers or vendors in a timely fashion.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, college courses a plus
- At least 1 year of Accounts Payable experience, manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working in a team environment
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Proficient math skills
- SAP business software experience preferred
- 10-key by touch
