The purpose of this position is to be part of a team responsible for invoices, travel expenses, account reconciliation as well as vendor administration/maintenance. This individual will work cross functionally to support other accounts payable aspects as needed. Performs the day to day processing of accounts payables transactions to ensure up to date and accurate invoice data for the distribution of checks and general ledger posting through the PeopleSoft ERP system
  • Receive and verify invoices for goods and services for U S and Canada
  • Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
  • Prepare batches of invoices for data entry
  • Prepare vendor checks for mailing
  • Open and distribute mail
  • Manage department mailboxes for U S and Canada
  • Maintain vendor profiles in PeopleSoft
  • Maintain and file all AP Documentation

Performs day to day processing for employee travel and expense transactions using the Concur Travel and Expense System to ensure policy compliance
  • Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
  • Review, audit and approval of employee expense reimbursements

  • Computer skills – spreadsheet (Excel), word processing programs, data entry and e-mail
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prefer 1+ years of experience in an office environment, preferably Accounting related
