TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT POSITION
Total Safety, the leading global outsourced provider of integrated safety and compliance solutions and products, is searching for the right individual to perform Accounts Payable duties for the assigned district office. The individual we are searching for will need excellent organizational skills to process the high volume of A/P Invoices and internal expense reports, along with above average Microsoft Office skills to perform the following duties:
Maintaining accurate and complete support for Accounts Payable invoices and expense reports;
Assist in monthly expense accruals;
Prepares documents, correspondence and reports as directed.
Enters data to maintain and update various databases and spreadsheets. Ensures data integrity by verifying input and calculations.
Assists others by furnishing information and helping with basic problem resolution.
Answers questions via phone or email and provides accurate and timely information.
Maintains organized computer and/or hard copy files for easy identification and retrieval.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
High school graduate or GED Certificate;
3+ years experience in administrative office duties;
Exposure to office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, calculators, fax machines, etc.;
Job Requirement: Experience in A/P invoice processing.
Experience in expense report processing.
Above average communication & interpersonal skills required to interact with multiple internal and external contacts.
PC skills with proficiency with MS Office and other function-specific specialized software programs.
Ability to pay close attention to details and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential or sensitive information or issues.
Salary is commensurate with experience. This is a non-exempt position and is therefore subject to overtime.
WHILE ON TEMPORARY STATUS, THERE WILL BE NO BENEFITS; ONCE POSITION BECOMES PERMENT, THE FOLLOWING BENEFITS WILL APPLY:
Employee Benefits include relatively standard Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental and Vision insurance coverage on a cost sharing basis with the company, wherein Total Safety pays approximately 75% of the cost for employee coverage and for dependant coverage. The medical program is a part of a PPO Network, but also allows the employee to select vendors outside of the network at an increased co-payment amount. The company provides group term life, accidental death & dismemberment, and short and long-term disability insurance for all employees at no cost to the employee. A voluntary program of group term life insurance (and AD&D) is also available to all employees. The employee pays the entire cost of this coverage, if selected. The company offers a 401(k) Retirement Plan, available to all employees, allowing for discretionary company contributions based on profits. The company pays for all administrative costs under the 401(k) Retirement Plan.
